Who runs this site
Strikkenomaden is run by Tine Desiree Mognes through the sole proprietorship Mognes Consulting, Norwegian organisation number 935 765 153. For questions about privacy, write to tinedesire@gmail.com.
Visitor statistics
I use Umami to see how many people visit and what gets read. Umami uses no cookies and does not store your IP address.
This is recorded:
- which pages are visited
- which site you came from, such as Instagram or Google
- country, language, browser, operating system, screen size and device type
- when someone clicks “Buy the pattern”
Your IP address is used only in the moment to work out which country a visit comes from, and is never stored. To count visits, Umami creates a code from things like your IP address and browser, together with a key that is replaced regularly. The code cannot be used to work out who you are. If you have turned on Do Not Track in your browser, you are not counted at all.
Umami has servers in the EU and the US.
Fonts
The fonts on this site are served from the site itself, not from Google or anyone else.
Buying patterns
When you buy a pattern, payment happens at Lemon Squeezy. They are the seller and handle your payment details under their own privacy policy.
On the pattern pages, a small script is loaded from Lemon Squeezy so the checkout can open on top of this page instead of sending you elsewhere. It only loads on pages that have a buy button. From Lemon Squeezy I receive your name, your email address, which country you are buying from and what you bought, so I can help if something goes wrong with your order. I never see your card number or other payment details.
Videos
Some pages have videos from YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play on one of them. The video then comes from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), Google receives your IP address among other things, and Google’s privacy policy applies.
Who delivers the site
The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like anyone delivering a website, they receive your IP address in order to send you the page.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete information about you. Since I don’t store information that can be linked to you, there is usually nothing to show — but feel free to ask. If you believe your personal data is being handled wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
