Calming Cocoa

The evening cocoa I make when my head will not settle. Five ingredients.

Tine sits in a window sill with the cup in her hands, in a pale knitted sweater and felted slippers.

For a long time I have struggled to regulate stress — whether it comes from inside me, or from work, the news and everything else. That is just life sometimes.

But I find it genuinely exciting to try to learn how to sort it out. One of the things I am exploring is natural herbs and plants, and whether they can make a small difference.

Everyone is different, so try things out. For me, this cocoa helps with sleep and restlessness. Alongside the knitting, of course.

Bonus: the cocoa may have an anti-inflammatory effect, which is nice if you live with chronic aches. And it is certainly not ultra-processed.

Fancy knitting while you enjoy it?
